Youth Villages Media Policy
Youth Villages welcomes opportunities to work with the news media to share information about our work and the success stories of our children and families, and to provide expert sources on a wide variety of children's mental and behavioral health issues or nonprofit management topics.
Media members must contact a member of our public relations team to facilitate any interview with Youth Villages staff or to photograph or shoot video at a Youth Villages location. Our work with troubled children is highly sensitive and HIPAA confidentiality laws require to us to protect the privacy of the children and families receiving our help.
Our PR team will work quickly to accommodate your request 24/7. A member of our team can help you identify the right sources and locations for your interview.
If an interview takes place at a Youth Villages location, a PR staff member must be present to help you facilitate interviews, navigate the campus and coordinate all necessary photography or b-roll shooting.
